1st step to beauty

Hello people,

So here’s my first official blog post and I’d like to start off with the 1st ever step to looking beautiful, “Being beautiful from within.”

I believe that it’s not all about makeup and fancy clothes. It’s rightly said that the real beauty comes from within! So here are some tips to get a healthy skin and a fresh glow along with a healthy body and mind:
1. Morning walk

Alright, so this might sound like a lot of work, but trust me even a half an hour walk everyday can do wonders for your health. Fresh air early morning calms and energizes you and your body for the rest of the day and thus gives a fresh glow to your face. (Try it for a day and you’ll feel it rightaway) you can also incorporate some yoga asana if you like.

2. Lemon tea

A cup of lemon or green tea every morning does wonders to your skin. Although green tea sachets are easiky available in the market here’s a recipe for homemade lemon/green tea.

Add 2-3 crushed kahwah tea leaves in one cup water and boil. Once boiled, take out the water in a cup and add 1 tsp. Lemon juice and 1 tsp. Honey. Kahwah is easily available in the market. So, this is how easy it is to make your own green tea.

This might even help you in weight loss as well since this tea is known to increase your metabolism.

3. Detox water

It’s extreemly important to stay hydrated all the time for your skin to stay glowing. Water in itself is very effective for good skin but it’s even better if it has some additional benefits to it along with some flavours, right? (I personally feel that my water intake increases automatically if the water is flavoured😅). Detox water cleanses your body, hence, giving you glowing skin, stronger metabolism and healty body.

So here’s what you’ll need to make your own detox water-

1 lemon sliced + 1/2 lemon juice

1 cucumber sliced

1 litre water

Handful of mint leaves

Mix all the ingredients, put it in fridge and let it sit for atleast 6 hours and voila! It’s ready to drink. Also, you can make detox water with different ingredients. For more recipies check out this link here

Along with this, don’t forget to drink atleast 2 litres of water everyday.

4. Early to bed, early to rise

I’m not trying to act mommy here, but it really works. I’ve always been a night person, sleeping at around 2 am and not waking up before 10. But for a week now I’ve started to go to bed early and wake up fresh early morning. And I must share this, it feels so refreshing and energizing. And studies show not getting enough sleep makes your body bloat! Not enough sleep makes your face look tired (obvio!) And your overall appearance dull. Now we don’t want that, do we?

So, these are few things to start with for a healthier skin and body.

All these tips are tested and did work for me. Let me know if they work for you or not!
